Wow, New Hampshire had an incredible voter turnout yesterday. Congratulations Bernie on a great win in our neighboring state!

Over the past week I have had the opportunity to volunteer for Bernie with countless other Vermonters - to everyone who volunteered, thank you. Getting out the vote in New Hampshire confirmed for me two things:
- People want real change.
- When you articulate a vision to empower all people, record numbers of people will turn out to vote.
As we look to the next steps in the presidential primary, I’m proud to say that I will be voting for Bernie Sanders on Vermont’s Town Meeting Day. Bernie is unscripted, honest and providing a voice for people in our country who are struggling. Bernie is the candidate who will bring our Vermont values to the Presidency.

During this campaign Bernie has talked about the challenges facing all Americans. We see these struggles in Vermont everyday, our economy is not working for everyone in our state. We must bring a fresh approach to Vermont, one that can bring jobs and opportunity to all Vermonters and all of Vermont. But we cannot do it alone. We need someone in the White House who will understand our unique challenges and amazing opportunities, and who will answer the phone when the Governor of Vermont calls. Bernie Sanders would be that President.
As Town Meeting day approaches I will continue to stand with Bernie, as he has always stood with all Vermonters.
