Help Us Get On TV!

We are now just over three weeks away from Election Day, and we need your help once again.

With your support we have already accomplished so much. Before our finance deadline, we asked for your help and you responded. Thanks to you we were able to raise more than $25,000 in just 96 hours.

We have used these funds to build our grassroots team and we now have staff in every county of Vermont, organizing volunteers and canvassing door to door to mobilize our supporters.

But the dynamics of the campaign are changing rapidly. As you may have seen, one of our opponents has been running television ads for the past several weeks. He has dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars from his personal millions into his campaign coffers to buy ads in support of his campaign.

While other candidates have the luxury of using their own money to fund these ads, as a grassroots campaign we are dependent on you to help us build our financial support.  Help us respond and keep building momentum by making a contribution.

What has made our campaign unique has been the grassroots support we’ve received from Vermonters all across the state (and ex-pat Vermonters living outside of the state).

Today we are asking you to step up one more time and help us reach an even bigger goal: We need to raise an additional $34,855 by 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 3rd - exactly three weeks before the Democratic Primary - in order to run TV ads.

Earlier this month, we came in a virtual tie for second in terms of money raised from supporters, even with far less name recognition. Television ads can generate tremendous exposure for our campaign, and will help build our name recognition and provide opportunities for future fundraising and grassroots efforts.

In order to keep our momentum going, we need your help to raise the funds necessary to get our ads up on television. Will you help us get on television by making a contribution?

As Seven Days noted last week, “...only Dunne has the right mix of in-state, small-donor and larger contributors — crucial components in a winning campaign... With 1131 donors and $25,000 raised in the 96 hours before the filing deadline, Dunne appears to be picking up steam, and that could spell trouble for his competition.”

We can continue building momentum and win on August 24th, but we need your help to get there. We need to get on TV and we need to do it soon.

Every bit helps, so whatever you can spare will go a long way in helping us reach this goal.

With this one final push, we can take this campaign to the next level and bring our positive message about revitalizing the economy and creating jobs to Vermonters across the state.
